Our producers
We work with a growing number of small scale tea producers in the mountains of Northern Thailand with the goal to produce the world's most sustainable tea.
While Thailand might not be famous for tea (yet), there are many incredible tea producers in these mountains, with knowledge passed on through generations.
When our founder Kenneth moved to Chiang Mai in 2012 to start this new endeavour in the tea world, he started out by building strong relationships in the mountains, and since then we have growed organically alongside the producers working with us to produce these fantastic teas.
Our philosophy is to make sure that tea grown in harmony with nature is more financially rewarding than monoculture plantations for people in these remote communities and therefore we pay a higher price to the producers for working with us.
At the moment we are working closely together with five different producers in showing the world that growing tea in a completely different way is a possibility. Our intention has always been to create life-long partnerships and we therefore work as much as possible with our existing producers before venturing out and working with additional ones.
This is of course the goal however, and the only thing stopping us from working with more and more producers in these mountains is the sales of the product. This is why we say that the more tea we sell, the more nature we protect, as this allows us to bring additional communities on board the tea revolution.
