White tea comes from the leaves of the tea bush called Camelia Sinensis. White tea is often made from the finest buds and youngest leaves at the top of the tea plant and they’re treated with a more delicate touch. Unlike black or oolong teas, white teas are not oxidised and instead only dried to retain form, taste and nutrients. The taste is much more mild compared to other teas but still packs a lot of flavor. You can brew our white teas for a long period of time and they stay smooth without turning bitter.
White tea does contain caffein, as does any tea from the tea plant, whether it’s green, black or white. White teas can actually contain more caffein than other teas as they’re unprocessed. Our Forest Friendly white teas are a must-try and we hope you’ll incorporate them into your daily lifestyle!
