Karen Oolong

Tea from the Karen hilltribe.

Karen Oolong is part of our selection of premium teas. These teas are pure teas that stand out in different ways, either through their production methods or picking selection. Karen Oolong is a semi oxidised oolong tea picked in a tea forest by members of the Karen people, a local hill tribe in Northern Thailand. The tea is then produced by tea master Dhara at her artisan tea factory in Mae Hong Son.

Tea picked by the ethnic hilltribe of the Karen people in the mountains of Northern Thailand.

Taste notes: 

Earthy and lightly floral taste notes.

Brewing suggestion:

Western brewing method: 2-3 grams of tea per 200 ml of water. Infuse in 90 degree water for 2 minutes. Brew the tea multiple times and experience the change in flavour during the tasting journey.
